"Where a Lifetime of Learning Begins"
Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 5
Children from pre-kindergarten through grade five attend school in a warm, family-centered environment. Caring teachers and a host of specialty and support personnel pool their resources to provide what is needed to help each child learn and thrive. The elementary school curriculum covers language arts, reading, writing, science, math, art, music, physical education and computer skills with an emphasis on developing skills and attitudes that enable students to become lifelong learners. Parents are encouraged to be a part of the school community by volunteering in the classroom or with after-school clubs and activities.
A Message From the Principal
Welcome to Freedom Elementary School. This Community Partnership school enables all students to learn in an environment surrounded by caring and compassionate staff members. We are here to serve the "whole child," which involves their mind, body, and heart. Come and visit our school, and feel the positive climate and positive role models within our walls.
We are proud of our standard based curriculum and extra curricular options offered to the students. Our Parent Activity Committee enables the classroom teachers to obtain materials and supplies needed to make learning fun.
Mission Statement
It takes all of us, the parent, the child, and the school working together to build a positive attitude about life, learning, and the world around us… an attitude of respect and care in all that we do. We believe every child in our school has the right to learn, to grow, and to be safe. We believe in every child’s ability to achieve.
